Shipping within 4 to 6 weeks The Bubble pendant lights, with their various spherical shapes, bring a touch of softness and diffused luminosity. Designed in 1952 by George Nelson, these elegant lamps rest on a sturdy and lightweight steel frame while forming an airy and delicate ensemble. Nelson was inspired by a set of Swedish pendant lamps covered in silk that he wanted to acquire for his office. Unfortunately, their price seemed unaffordable. Nelson, being a designer as clever as he was resourceful, he set about creating the first set of Bubble lamps by spraying a white, translucent resin, a technique developed at the time by the American army. Nelson drew inspiration from a variety of simple and authentic shapes to design these pendant lights.
