Designed in 1952 by George Nelson, these elegant lamps rest on a sturdy and light steel frame while forming an airy and delicate ensemble. Nelson was inspired by a set of Swedish silk-covered hanging lamps he wanted to acquire for his office. Unfortunately, the price seemed unaffordable to him. Nelson being a clever and resourceful designer, he created the first set of Bubble lamps by spraying a white, translucent resin, a technique developed at the time by the U.S. military. Nelson drew his inspiration from a variety of simple and natural forms to design these suspensions. – Materials: Polymer sprayed onto a steel frame – Dimensions : Small : Ø 32 cm x h 30 cm Medium : Ø 47 cm x h 39 cm Large : Ø 67 cm x h 58 cm Weight : Small : 1,3 kg Medium : 2,2 kg Large : 3,1 kg – Packaging : Small: W 41 cm x D 41 cm x H 43 cm Medium: W 56 cm x D 56 cm x H 48 cm Large: W 71 cm x D 71 cm x H 68 cm – Accessories: Cord of 183 cm maximum and brushed nickel ceiling plate – E27 60 watt bulb not included – Maintenance: Soft cloth
