Initially imagined for the new French high-speed train carriages, the TGV lamp was designed by Ionna Vautrin at the request of SNCF (national railway company).
A strong sign in the traveler’s journey, this light combines sleek curves and geometric rationality. The comfortable brightness and simplicity of the TGV lamp’s design make it a conniving object around which the traveler is invited to settle.
From the platform where it welcomes passengers behind the bay windows and throughout the journey, the TGV lamp is an element with a domestic character, promising comfort “like at home”.
Naturally carrying in its genes the characteristics of a domestic lamp, SNCF and Moustache have pooled their skills to create a TGV lamp to install in our interiors.
Made of injected aluminum using industrial tools developed for fitting out new TGVs, the domestic version of the lamp is identical to those around which you are installed during your journey.
Only a ballast has been added to the body of the lamp to ensure its perfect stability and a screwing system developed under the base to fix it securely in particular contexts such as catering, hotels and space planning publics.
